Motif has secured Series ‘A’ funding from leading Wall Street and Silicon Valley investors. They include:

•   Rohit Desai – Chairman and President, Desai Capital Management, Inc.
  
Mr. Desai has more than 35 years of investment experience. Prior to forming Desai Capital Management Inc. in 1984, Mr. Desai managed an equity-linked investment fund for Morgan Guaranty Trust Company, an affiliate of J.P Morgan. During his 20 year tenure at Morgan Guaranty, Mr. Desai was responsible for the alternative investments program, which encompassed public convertible venture capital, real estate and natural resources securities.(www.desaicapital.com)

•   The Chatterjee Group
  
Dr. P. C. Chatterjee is the Founder and Chairman of The Chatterjee Group (TCG). TCG is a US group with $2.5B in assets worldwide bringing value to business through strategic onshore and offshore investments. Dr. Chatterjee ventured into investing in public market and private companies with George Soros of SFM, after leaving McKinsey in 1986. For about a decade at McKinsey, he led major strategy and organization assignments for CEOs of large global companies.

•   Anthileon Capital/Artiman Ventures
  
Amit Shah, Chairman, Anthileon Capital/Artiman Ventures, focuses on early stage technology investments. As a Partner of Artiman Ventures, he is currently on the boards of Auryn, Sierra Design Automation, NetDevices, InvenSense, SiOptical and Zyme.

Prior to founding Artiman Ventures, Amit gained technology investment experience as a General Partner of Anthelion I & II, a seed stage venture fund. He also worked as VP of New Markets and Technologies for Cisco Systems' Business Development and Alliances Group. Prior to this, he founded and was CEO of PipeLinks, Inc., acquired by Cisco (1998). Preceding PipeLinks, he founded ZeitNet, a networking systems company which was then acquired by Cabletron (1996).

•   Fenwick & West Partners

Mr. Dave Healy is Co-chair of the Fenwick & West's Mergers and Acquisitions Group. He advises technology companies in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnering transactions and spin-offs. Mr. Healy's practice also includes start-up and public company issues, venture capital financings, public offerings and licensing matters. Mr. Healy's clients have included start-ups backed by Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Benchmark, NEA and numerous other prominent venture and angel investors. Mr. Healy has negotiated sales of his start ups to major companies such as Intel, Cadence, Globespan, ATI, EMC and Maxtor.
