Mr. Desai has more than 35 years of investment experience. Prior to forming Desai Capital Management Inc. in 1984, Mr. Desai managed an equity-linked investment fund for Morgan Guaranty Trust Company, an affiliate of J.P Morgan. Dr. P. C. Chatterjee is the Founder and Chairman of The Chatterjee Group (TCG). TCG is a US group with $2.5B in assets worldwide bringing value to business through strategic onshore and offshore investments. Dr. Chatterjee ventured into investing in public market and private companies with George Soros of SFM, after leaving McKinsey in 1986. For about a decade at McKinsey, he led major strategy and organization assignments for CEOs of large global companies.

Prior to founding Artiman Ventures, Amit gained technology investment experience as a General Partner of Anthelion I & II, a seed stage venture fund. He also worked as VP of New Markets and Technologies for Cisco Systems' Business Development and Alliances Group. Prior to this, he founded and was CEO of PipeLinks, Inc., acquired by Cisco (1998). Preceding PipeLinks, he founded ZeitNet, a networking systems company which was then acquired by Cabletron (1996).
